About me

Zoey McNeil – Photographer

Hello and welcome to my website. It’s a place that is designed to give you a taste of what I can do by showcasing a selection of my favourite images from weddings that I have covered.

From an early age I always knew I wanted a career in the creative industries. I even remember telling my junior school teacher, when she asked what I would like to do when I grew up, that I wanted to live in New York and become an artist.  It was what kind of artist that I never could really get to grips with until later on in my life.

After studying Fine Art at university and taking a further course in photography, I decided that this is definitely where my passion lays and so I began gaining experience in photography by working for studios in the Yorkshire area.

I’ve now decided that I want to go it alone and produce images which reflect my own style and that of the personalities of the couples who choose me to photograph their wedding.

I love all things unusual and I’m particularly interested in anything vintage, such as retro furniture from the 1950s and 60s and I regularly visit junk shops and car boots – the Newark International Antiques Fair is a must!

I’ve now photographed a variety of different weddings and I’m lucky to have met and worked with some great people along the way. This is one of the many reasons why I love this job so much.

Although I’m Sheffield based, I’m more than happy to travel around the UK and abroad for your special day.  So if you are getting engaged, married or simply want some great portrait shots and you like what you see on my site, I’d be delighted to hear from you to have a chat about what I can do.

You can keep up to date with all my latest work by visiting my blog, which will give you an overview to recent events I’ve attended.

Take care,
